Hi May and Eva-Maria. I'm experimenting. Please watch the video and listen to the audio below. See if you can record and send back too. The audio file took seconds. The videos need to be very short. You upload as a file using the up arrow below. Steve
Hi Eva-Maria. Sorry for the late reply! I don't have any specific topic to start here, but having said that there are always so many occurring to me and I make a voice note to consider exploring them later and making a video. Oh, and also to discuss in the workshops. My problem is that I'm always running out of time. The one embracing subject - which can apply to discussing any topic or theme - is the use of Fixed Expressions. They can include collocations, phrasal verbs and idioms, but so many times the do not. There are just ; 'things' we say, stock phrases we utter. There are zillions of them. I have lists, but they need to be hears or read with examples in use - and the same expressions my be used in different contexts. Making videos takes so much time - I keep thinking of making Mp3s as they are much easier and quickerto produce,
Anywa, how about you, Do you have topics that srping to mind>
yes, I agree to some extent. We might feel an inferiority complex by comparing ourselves to others on social media where people tend to be competitive. That can lead to negative issues like depression and not being content with their ordinary lives.
